Privacy notice for export and wholesale enquiries

This notice explains how we use the personal data you send us through the quote form, by email or on WhatsApp on the English pages of karlihome.com.tr. It summarises our Turkish data protection notice (KVKK), which remains the binding version for processing under Turkish law.

Who is responsible

What we collect

  • Your name, company name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Your country and city, type of business, the models and quantities you ask about, delivery preferences and your message.
  • Technical data needed to run and protect the site, such as IP address and browser type, kept in server logs.

Why and on what basis

  • To prepare and send your quote and to follow up on it: steps taken at your request before a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
  • If an order follows, to fulfil it and keep the records required by Turkish tax and commercial law (KVKK art. 5/2-c and 5/2-ç).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent misuse of the form: our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your enquiry for newsletters, and we do not sell personal data.

Who receives it

Our hosting, database and email delivery providers, which process the data on our behalf; the database and email delivery run in the European Union (Ireland). If you place an order: the freight forwarder, customs broker and bank involved in the shipment, and public authorities where the law requires.

Cookies and statistics

The site counts page views without cookies and without storing your IP address. Analytics and advertising measurement tools from Google are loaded only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. You can change this choice by clearing the site data in your browser.

How long we keep it

As long as needed to answer and follow up your request. If an order follows, for the retention periods set by Turkish tax and commercial law. Afterwards the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask whether we process your data and request access, correction or deletion, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and, where the GDPR applies, ask for restriction or a copy of your data in a portable format. Write to toptan@karlihome.com.tr; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, to your local data protection authority.
